Literary Festival

The Town of Wickenburg will host our second annual Literary Festival in beautiful Historic Downtown Wickenburg on April 8, 2017.  Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) awarded the 2016 Literary Festival an award as the best event.

This will celebrate the Voices of the Southwest with programming from regional authors, poets, performers and musicians. The Wickenburg Literary Festival’s mission is to promote reading, writing and civil conversation by celebrating written and spoken word and its role in improving the quality of life. Historic Downtown Wickenburg features the newly renovated Wickenburg Public Library, Wickenburg Community Center, Community Stage and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum.

The Town of Wickenburg is partnering with the Del Webb Center for Performing Arts, Desert Caballeros Western Museum, Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, Wickenburg Unified School District, Wickenburg PTA, Library Society and Friends of the Wickenburg Public Library to host the Literary Festival.
